I was recently on the bus on the way to LAX and happened to sit down next to a woman who had come to visit LA from Japan. The bus lurched forward at an unexpected moment and hurled both of us out of our respective seats. We laughed and exchanged a look as we decided simultaneously that it was probably the time to put on our seatbelts.
Unbeknownst to me she had watched me draw a card from a deck that I was traveling with. The image on the card was titled “totally bananas.” She informed me that in this precise moment she felt the card was not for me but had actually been for her — something in this image and these words seemed to be emblematic of the journey she was now completing. We talked for the rest of the ride and exchanged numbers just as the bus was pulling up to LAX.
A few days later I got a message from her. She told me that she had chosen two Japanese Kanji for me. The first 聖 (sei) means sacred and pure, and second 弦 (dee) which means guitar string, but also symbolizes inner strength, like a strong bow string. Together as 聖弦 it means a “sacred string with a strong unwavering core.”
Having devoted myself to opening as a channel between Heaven and Earth for the better part of my conscious existence, I felt clearly and sensitively reflected in this offering from a fellow traveler. I sensed the resonance of this name, lovingly bestowed by a stranger with a generous heart, reverberating. It is my intention that the vibration of the sound of my name, Sayde, form a bridge, connecting me with all those whom I am ready to serve. In joy, in depth, in delight.

For any client wishing to contract with me: I am presently oriented towards clearly perceiving what is already natural, whole and self-healing in the body and psyche and amplifying that. My approach is about cleanly and clearly cutting through, with perception, with awareness, in direct experience.
